Terms of Service

By creating an account or using KeyToRole ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users of KeyToRole, including free and paid subscribers.

KeyToRole is an AI-powered career intelligence platform. The Service allows users to upload resumes, paste job descriptions, and receive AI-generated outputs including ATS scores, resume optimizations, skill gap analyses, learning roadmaps, interview questions, and cover letters.

The outputs generated by KeyToRole are AI-generated suggestions. They are intended as a starting point to assist your job search. KeyToRole does not guarantee employment outcomes.

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content that violates any law or regulation
• Upload content containing malware or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
• Use the Service to create outputs on behalf of others for commercial gain without a Teams plan

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you upload. We are not liable for outputs generated from inaccurate input data.

Free Plan: Available at no cost with usage limits as described on the Pricing page.

Pro Plan: Billed monthly (₹499/month) or annually (₹3,999/year). Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Teams Plan: Billed monthly (₹2,499/month) or annually (₹23,999/year) for up to 5 seats.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

Price changes: We will provide at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices.

Your content: You retain ownership of the resumes, job descriptions, and other content you upload. By uploading content, you grant KeyToRole a limited licence to process that content to provide the Service.

Our content: The KeyToRole platform, including its design, code, and AI models, is owned by KeyToRole. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

AI outputs: The AI-generated outputs (optimized resume, cover letter, interview questions, etc.) are provided for your personal use. You may use, edit, and distribute these outputs for your own job search.

KeyToRole is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation
• Using the Service will result in job interviews or employment

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KeyToRole shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or using the account deletion option in your profile settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
