Resume data: The resume documents you upload for analysis. These are used solely to generate your ATS score, skill gap analysis, optimized resume, learning roadmap, interview questions, and cover letter.

Job description text: The job descriptions you paste into the tool. This text is processed by our AI model to tailor your outputs.

Usage data: Basic analytics such as pages visited, features used, and session duration — collected to improve the product.

We do not collect payment card data directly. Payments are processed by our payment provider and are governed by their privacy policy.

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the KeyToRole service
• Generate your AI-powered career outputs (ATS score, resume, skill gap, roadmap, interview questions, cover letter)
• Send you transactional emails related to your account (e.g. signup confirmation, password reset)
• Respond to support requests you submit

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your resume data to train AI models without explicit opt-in consent.

Your data is stored on secure servers. We apply industry-standard security practices including:

Resume files are retained for the duration of your account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile settings.

KeyToRole uses the following third-party services to operate:

• AI providers (e.g. Google Gemini, OpenAI): Your resume and job description text is sent to these providers to generate AI outputs. These providers have their own privacy policies.
• Cloud infrastructure: Our backend is hosted on cloud infrastructure with data residency in the relevant region.
• Analytics: We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the product is used.

We select third-party providers carefully and require them to maintain appropriate data protection standards.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to processing of your data in certain circumstances
